At Casa Monte Cristo in Lagos, Algarve, Portual. Emily and Aiden celebrated their wedding amidst the beauty of nature and the warmth of their loved ones. The day was filled with joy and laughter as vows were exchanged and heartfelt speeches shared. In the morning Emily and Aiden got ready in the two separate villas on site at Casa Monte Cristo. These fabulous modern villas have great natural light which is a dream to shoot wedding photography in. As you can see Emily, had her first look with all her bridesmaids and also a very emotional Dad, who was crying before he even set eyes on her.

The ceremony was set on the beautiful lawn infront of the stunning natural views. Although the Algarve is extremely hot in June, Casa Monte Cristo keeps their gardens and lawns lovely and green. It meant we were able to get a variety of couple’s photographs using different backdrops around the villas. Our personal favourites being the golden hour shots where we used Emily’s veil.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the we captured stunning sunset photos, immortalizing moments of love and tenderness. These photographs serve as timeless reminders of a joyous day spent with family and friends, against the backdrop of Casa Monte Cristo’s enchanting ambiance.

In an untraditional turn (which we are here for!) It was Emily who delivered the main speech at the wedding. As you can see from the photos. Emily’s speech, delivered with grace and sincerity, earned her applause from the crowd and also belly laughing from her Father. 

Lawn games were also a hit with their guests, and we were right there to capture some of the Jenga fun.In the evening, a group cigar session from the gentlemen. Which is always so fun to shoot as the faces pulled are alao quite extraordinary!
